I paid more for Alexa function because I am lazy. I said so, and that's probably why you're considering it too. After a few weeks it went offline as shown in the video, it was still synced and in READY TO BREW mode and still not accepting commands from Alexa. In fact, Alexa couldn't find him anymore. I disconnected and ran the setup again and I still had the same issue. I have gigabit internet and I'm paying for the extra GB and my wifi covers the whole block so I'm pretty sure it's not a connectivity issue. I'll send it back and just buy a regular coffee maker. Pros: Easy heavy loading with no spills. This was an issue with other mugs, causing spills when pouring coffee or topping up the water tank. Fast installation with AlexaSuper hot! The hottest thing I've ever had from a coffee maker. Plus: black burner. Others are like stainless steel, which stains quickly when dripping. Cons: Just don't buy an Alexa-enabled device that doesn't work.
