This is my opinion. I largely agree with C. Smith's review. - Parts of the Saris MTR-1 are not firmly connected, resulting in significant wobbling. - The hitch key is a joke. It's difficult to operate and there's no way to tighten it properly unless you use a wrench. In terms of ease of use, you just put the bike on the rack and secure it with the levers, but you can't position your bike. the bike along the pallets, since there is a "cradle" on the front wheel that determines where the bike goes. This causes the front wheel of my bike to stick out over the side of my pickup. Try the 1UP USA bike racks, they're great. I thought sarees were "normal" until I saw the 1Up Equip-D. With 1Up there is no wobble and it is lighter than the Saris.C. Smith rightly advises avoiding this carrier.
