It works great with tripods and monopods
This thing really helps. Unlike most inexpensive tripod add-ons, it works damn well. Half the time I use a tripod and an arm monopod with a ProMaster pan head. I shoot videos on canon t6i. Best used in conjunction with remote shooting software on a laptop.
