Earned almost out of the box!

After several attempts with other similar ESP32+LoRa development boards I encountered several problems: poor quality boards, some dead on arrival, missing or misleading documentation, failed attempts to implement LoRaWAN libraries, etc. This is the ESP32 development board exceeded my expectations (which were not very high initially). I got the latest (v2) version of the board, which I didn't expect. Since the connector's pins were already soldered on, I was able to get it working without any additional work. The most important thing to know is that the board comes with a LoRa library and a sketch. This is NOT what you need if you are using the device in a full LoRaWAN setup (e.g. using a gateway and working with TheThingsNetwork). The installed sketch is only for sending LoRa packet data and will only work if you have another LoRa device connected. as receiver. For this device to become part of the LoraWAN network, ignore any examples they provide (the only useful document is the pinout document). After about 2 hours of work I was able to use the Arduino LMIC library to program the board to connect to my LoRaWAN network and send sensor data over the air. Overall experience was good.
