Works great. Use both in an egg cooler to ensure the temperature stays absolutely accurate. The attached picture was in my house with the thermostat set at 72°. Later I put them in the fridge where the temperature was set at 39°. They were both within 1/2 degree of each other, which is accurate enough for what it's used for. But I'm happy with how they work. They have very sharp edges around the thermometer stand. If you're not careful, they can cut you. This is a very minor issue for me as I can sand the edges, but if you don't have the time or equipment to do this I would consider others. I took off a star because of the sharp edges.
