The Arcan 12V/DC portable air compressor is tested here. Electricity worked perfectly right out of the box. I liked the ability to program the digital PSI gauge to automatically turn off the compressor when PSI setpoints are reached. I tested this with a normal car tire inflation process and it worked fine. It also includes several tips for use with sports balls, floats, pillows, air mattresses, etc. Notes: [+] Inflates quickly and reaches your desired PSI limit in minutes. I turn it on and the engine runs because this little thing uses power [+] The handle rattled a little and I had to retighten the bolts [+] It gets hot during operation, including the cylinder, There are heat shields, Please use the handle. Overall this is a well built small portable air compressor at the asking price. I don't know the expiry date of this product as I've only had it for a week. Worth four stars!
