I buy my mom socks almost every time as she seems to complain about every other purchase I make. She usually wants to have everything in common, but she specifically asked for it for her birthday this year. Few things make her happy, but these socks have never let her down. I buy them in different kinds for her. She doesn't care if they have a thread or not. They have no thread (she sent me pictures of socks with thread). She's not old, of course, but her health has never been good, and as she gets older she needs to be extra comfortable. Their reasoning: they stay soft, don't stretch or slip for weeks and they keep you warm. They also don't take pills. I'm a lot less picky, but I definitely get a pair from time to time. you are so cute I think the "aloe" aspect might be a gimmick. I can not say. I do not care. They are worth their price.
