Review on Mio MiVue 798 Mounted Car Security: Reliable Protection for Your Ride by Scott Rodriguez

MiVue 798 DVR is the first DVR I have ever used. I have used it during the day, at night and when it rains at night. The HD quality of the footage is impressive. It is easy to attach to the windshield. The mini-USB connection cable is quite long, so getting it out of sight won't be a problem. The camera is smaller and does not obstruct the field of view. Once connected to the car, recording begins as soon as the car starts moving. The wide-angle lens captures the entire road and uses GPS to tell you how fast you're going. If the dash cam detects a sudden movement or change of direction of the G-sensor (e.g. an accident), it will record this event immediately and save it in a separate folder where it will not be recorded. I was able to use the Wi-Fi feature and the MiVue app to view and download each file, or you can use an SD card for that. For my needs this camera is great and works well.
