color and soft light with adjustable flash. I can experiment with it so much. The gel filters are very well made and don't break when I tip them over the lamp. I used a soft coated green and I got this subtle enhanced shade of green that makes the grass outside POPULAR! The transmitter works in sync with my Rebel 3 so this whole set is effective!
