I bought a chair about a couple of years ago at a price, I don’t remember anymore, but a little over 20 thousand. They said that it was genuine leather, that’s why I bought it. It turned out that leatherette. For leatherette, the price is exorbitant. Armchairs for such a price should serve for 7-10 years, at least. At one time I took a chair from Ikea for about 5 thousand, also made of leatherette, so it lasted 5 years and everything functioned, but the upholstery just wore out, became ugly and decided to replace it. Here, the upholstery began to fail very quickly - it was worn out literally before our eyes and began to tear, which definitely did not resemble the properties of the skin. Today, it finally failed - it broke, I believe, the plywood base, located under the leatherette of the seat from below, to which the metal holder of the base is attached. It is no longer possible to return the back of the chair to its normal position. There are no words. Armchair for 20K for 2 years went to the trash ! It would be better to take something for 6 thousand. The effect would be the same.
