Review on Kaytee CritterTrail Super Habitat Animals by Erin Lee

I thought a lot about buying this cage because of conflicting reviews, but I went with my intuition and so far I have no regrets! It was easy to follow the instructions and I had no problem closing it or escaping my hamster because she is a curious escape artist. She loves her cage and plays in it all night. So much to do! I often change things for her to keep her from getting bored and encourage her to explore more and move. I take her to the bathroom every few days so she doesn't bite the bars when she wants to go outside. I have a small strawberry shelter from Petko and she loves to sleep in it. There is no place to hang a water bottle so I used a water bowl for this as you can see in my photos. It's just more natural for her to drink from a bowl and I'm worried about her craning her neck out of the bottle so this is a great option if you have any doubts about this cage. I also chose not to use the platform that came with the cage just to give her more room to move around. So far we're both enjoying it and I feel good knowing she's safe.
