I ordered one of these despite some negative and 5 star comments. The "one star" reviews weren't very helpful, they just said "this isn't good" or something. The highly upvoted comments didn't give me accurate information that was REALLY helpful. Here's what I needed to know: does this device really work on a Windows 10 computer? Some said yes, some said no. I have several computers at home with WIN 10 and have tried this on all of them. Yes, Win 10 works great. To access those photos on all your old memory cards: Plug a memory card reader into an available USB port. If necessary, use a USB extension cable. Go to File Explorer and click This PC. You will NOT see the device. When you insert your media card into the card reader, the LED light on the reader will light up and the contents of the card will appear when you click on the new drive letter under Devices and drives. This should fix this problem. This is a great device.
