So I just bought these to filter solid waste for my outdoor tilapia pond. But to my surprise, not only did it filter out the solid, but the water became clear after a few days of use. The pond is approximately 200 gallons and contains just over 60 tilapias. Due to the large amount of feces, it is difficult to keep the water clean. So I wash and reuse the filters often, but they cleaned everything almost crystal clear. The only downside is that once clogged, they cannot be washed and reused. I usually wash the solids out of the filters and water the plants with it. Great result for the price, pleasantly surprised, pleasantly surprised!
