We bought this for my son for Christmas. He's five and loves hourglasses for some reason. Since it was in a wooden frame I figured this would be the best option for it. The first one that came was broken in the box. I was just in bubble wrap for shipping. The second arrived safely. Its appearance is beautiful and the choice of colored sand played a role in our choice. Unfortunately I play with him on the first day. We noticed that the sand stopped flowing. It was in different places. no specific time for the fall of the sand. That's pretty embarrassing for him. I already threw the box away, otherwise I would have returned the money.
