Protective covers prevent the block from snapping into place.

I can't rate the product because I can't use it at the moment. I've also bought cases for the device and unfortunately they make the Charge 4 too wide to snap into the charging dock. So I have to use the regular charger that came with the Fitbit device. There are protective covers that stick to the watch due to static electricity. This will likely allow the device to snap into place properly.
