Review on ๐Ÿ”” Powerful Ventura Super Loud Bicycle Tire Bell for Ultimate Safety and Awareness by Orlando Mohr

Mine worked great. . .before. . .

I bought one of these off eBay really thinking it was vintage (it had rust and looked old). I drive in heavy New York traffic. As a commuter, weight wasn't a big issue. The mounting bolts that come with the kit are undersized except for the really old Schwinn type flat forks. You will need longer metric fine thread screws twice the size of what they give you.2. You may lose some paint from the fork as you need to attach it tightly. I have chrome forks so I wasn't too worried.3. Yes, my union nut has come loose and with it the drive wheel. Luckily I found her a block away. I'll probably try to fix it with Loctite on the union nut threads or maybe some epoxy. There's quite a bit of power on the drive wheel when going over 5-10 mph.4. It can rattle on large bumps. When it works, it sounds like a crazy old-fashioned phone call. Pedestrians will bounce back and you can keep going for a while to compete with the car horn. You can use it at a pretty low speed because I think there are some strikers in there. If the ringing is soft it would be nice to see if the bells are touching, this will muffle the sound. Nor should it be dirty. I just bought a new one (at this price!?! super cheap!). If it had been brass the sound would have been much better. I would pay extra $$. good luck sun
