As mentioned in the description and most of the bad reviews, I'm giving three stars because this hub can't really be used with a cap that worries me. Then there are other port features that need improvement. First of all, this hub has a Thunderbolt 3 interface, a TF/SD card reader and 3 USB 3.0. Which I think is way better to have HDMI (although they also have models that include all ports, consider returning and buying another). I tested all interfaces. First, there are no issues when using Thunderbolt 3 for charging. In fact, most interfaces can be used without problems. Thunderbolt 3 can be used to transfer data, and the transfer speed is several times faster than USB. You can also connect external displays, then the charging interface will take over. It's a bit strange that the card reader port looks the other way around. There is a detailed explanation of the problem in one of the comments and there are no problems using it. I didn't check all 3 USB3 ports, just randomly plugged in the stick. Too bad this hub can't read the Apple Super Drive, but I've verified that other brands (e.g. anker hyperdrive) won't be compatible with the Apple Super Drive either. so i will look elsewhere. Overall, this is not the ideal USB hub for my MacBook Pro. I want to try a revised and improved version of this proven product.
