UPDATE: Timing belt drive froze after 3 months and wouldn't spin anymore. He just blocked right away one day. So my Turbokat was defective and the company didn't care. A total waste of $107.00 and a lot of frustration. Original post: When I first used the Vacuflow Turbocat it worked fine. After that, the roll ends or the belt system seem to drag and no longer turn freely, it even stops. This new turbo head was a replacement for the replica I had used for 12 years. I'm familiar with cleaning it at least 2 times per use. After 4 uses this is not good. The product is defective and the company does not return the money for the product. Shipping took 2 weeks and I didn't return it for the remaining 2 weeks as they only give 1 month and with Covid don't accept 'used' but defective items. They didn't offer to fix the problem, improve usability, or figure out what was wrong with it. I wasted $107 and will never buy a Turbocat again. UPDATE: I've found that if I completely disassemble the device at least once per use - unscrew the screws - take out the metal side plates, finish with the long stem and the other end, and clean the hair around the roller, it might work. Just vacuuming is a big hassle. For some reason dog hair is attracted and pulled in by the side rollers, although the brushes don't pick up as much hair. It takes almost nothing to get bogged down. I have 2 dogs and a cat. I have towed a Turbocat that I have had for 12 years, it actually works better even when worn out.
