I've had several shower speakers over the year and I'm definitely happy with them. When I was looking to buy the next one after my SB13 (Soundbot) died, I had a couple of requirements: it had to be fully waterproof (not splashproof), sound good, and have decent battery life. I chose Olafus after reading a few reviews and for $15 it's not a big investment. Compared to SB13, it is more rigorous, very compact (it easily fits in the palm of your hand). The sound quality is very good, especially considering the size. A few days after I had it, my daughter played with it in the bath and submerged it several times. Only the sound quality dropped a bit because it was muted, but the speaker itself was in perfect condition and there was no water on the internal electronics. I put it back on later that day and the sound was back to normal as water was dripping from the speaker. I then took it with me on family vacation for 1.5 weeks and it was in use every night for quite a while. Not only could we use it as a shower speaker, but it was loud enough to play outside in a 20x30 foot area and everyone could hear it crystal clear. The speaker didn't sound like it was coming from a tiny speaker, but a much higher quality speaker. I only charged it once a week so the battery can definitely hold a charge and power it for quite some time. Overall I would say this is my favorite shower speaker at the moment. I have few cons, the microphone has not yet been tested. The only thing I would like to say about the speaker is that some people might get annoyed with "speaker on, bluetooth mode" when turning on, but it doesn't wake the neighbors and honestly not bad. I also noticed that I didn't have the suction cup and it could vibrate off some surfaces (grill top, shower tray) when playing, but that's pretty easy to fix. I'd also like to point out that this didn't happen often, only when playing heavier bass-heavy music at full force on an uneven shelf, so you'd expect that from almost all speakers. If you're looking for a new shower speaker, be sure to try it, it's worth it.
