These rivet shanks are either too soft, too short or too small in diameter; the dies of the rivet gun do not bite far enough to pull the rivet head into the yoke and break the shank at the end of the application. In addition, it is difficult to detach the rivet shank from the dies when they break, making it difficult to detach the worn shank. Arrow rivets of the same size in red packaging are far superior in performance.
