The home office has been redone and the installers have added some small socket holes on the outside of the cabinet so we can run cables in. They left those holes blank so I bought these bushings to complete the look. Unfortunately the eyelet holes were just over 1 inch. This in itself wouldn't be a problem as I could pour epoxy into these sockets, but the cables I used didn't go through the 1" hole. It turned out that the connector ends of the wires were just over 1 inch, so the holes are also about 1.25 inches in diameter. Without being able to push through the cords, I could not use these sockets for their intended purpose. However, they are certainly a quality product and I'm sure I will find other uses for them over time. There's no shortage of wiring in the house, so they might be useful for other applications.
