I like everything about this jack. The square tube material is strong, the jack is designed to provide good mechanical advantage. My paint job was in perfect condition. Thanks to the tipping support, the lifting/lowering height can be easily adapted to different trailers. The base is very large and, as other reviews have mentioned, is black, not chrome. I'm towing my implement trailer with a pickup truck. One of the reasons I bought this jack was to get rid of the Aframe round jack as you can't lower the tailgate with a trailer attached without hitting the Aframe jack. I had to weld the mounting point of the square tube Reese jack and move it further away from the connector to get the clearance needed to lower the tailgate. Works great, enough space for free grip, no problem.
