Review on Computer case Deepcool Matrexx 55 black by Wiktor Kosiorek ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Exactly what I needed, it's a great buy, I recommend it.

In general, I am satisfied! Different pros: 1. Beautiful appearance. 2. Build quality: parts do not play, do not rattle, do not bend much under the finger. Lots of holes and openings inside for rear cable routing. The metal cuts are not sharp, but rounded. 3. The case itself is heavy and strong. The side walls do not rattle and fit snugly. Even with a metal thickness of 0.6 mm, the Matrex does not lose in comparison with my old case, which had a metal thickness of 1.2 mm. 4. Very good ventilation from all sides. There is only a 120 mm fan on the back wall and a cooler on the processor. If you put your hand to the front side holes, it noticeably pulls from the inside. Icy air is blowing from the top of the case, in short, a draft under the table. But due to the large number of holes, you can hear the noise of the fans and the squeak of the chokes in the power supply. Cons: 1. The most important drawback was found when I tried to connect an SSD. I put him on the inner wall, like the whole village, screwed the screws. Then I tried to plug in the power cable - but no luck! The plug does not fit, because the size of the hole in the wall for laying the cable is too small! Width not included. Tried this and that. As a result, I first plugged the power connector into the SSD, and then screwed it as far as possible with the SSD itself and the power connector skewed. Here is such a fly in the ointment in this gorgeous barrel of honey! The younger model Matrexx 50 does not have such a problem: the holes are located differently there. In general, the Matrexx 50 has even more options for connecting SSDs: two in 3.5 trays, two on the side wall on the left, two behind the motherboard in trays. There are only 4 options in Matrexx 55, and those are not very good. 2. The second drawback is small: the stubs to support the motherboard hardly enter the holes, I had to screw it in with pliers, peeling off the paint, sometimes the stump goes crooked. 3. The power-on indicator and the HDD activity indicator are very bright. I had to turn it off.
