It is difficult to open the back

It was difficult to open the back, it was not possible to match the notches exactly. The slit in the back has started to thin. I tried prying it open with a safety pin, a small flathead screwdriver, and finally some cuticle cutters (for nails) and finally popped it open. It already had a battery in it, so that was a plus. It is programmed normally and works so far.
