I used to install 5 M2 NVME hard drives. Of these, 3 were Samsung 970EVO and 2 Intel 660P. All were initialized and formatted with Windows 10, cloned and installed. All booted once selected as the main boot drive. This refused to load. I first tried a Dell 14 7472 with a Samsung 970EVO. Clone it with the USB enclosure as usual and make sure all partitions and data are copied in order. Then I installed it and it won't load. The Casper cloning program is to blame for everything. Tried the second proven Macrium cloning program. Same result. Blame a Dell laptop. To satisfy my curiosity, I repeated the same procedure on my desktop to see if it worked. Cloned an installed Intel 660P drive using both programs and got the same results. No downloading. On both systems it got stuck at the point where the BIOS looks for the drive, finds it and then starts Windows. Both systems never found the PNY drive and never got past the initial black screen. As for me, I will not buy this product again, my advice is pay a little more and go for Samsung. Never had a problem. Cannot support PNY.
