Review on Under Armour Alternate Closure Running Girls' Shoes and Athletic by Dana Cardenas

Shockingly poor quality for durability

After wearing these shoes for 13 days I noticed my son's right shoe looked horrible because it was new. He has not worn these shoes every day and has not engaged in any sporting or unusual activity that could explain the damage, especially as the left shoe is fine. I contacted Under Armor directly with receipt and pictures. I thought it might be a manufacturing accident as we have other UA tennis shoes that are over a year old that look better on their second child than these shoes that are less than two weeks old. I was shocked that UA doesn't endorse their product. They offered me a 15% discount coupon to buy another pair. There's no way I would spend almost $50 on kids' shoes that don't even last 2 weeks.

Pros
  • Great running shoes for the price. Much stronger than New Balance or my kids' adidas.
Cons
  • They really aren't for wide feet. They are narrower. Even went up a size and is still too tight.
