The best inflatable single bed for everyday use!

I still have the Intex Dura-Beam Deluxe Comfort Plush Air Bed Queen Size 22" height. I've been using it for many years and needed something smaller as I was only using half the bed. So needed I wanted something with the same features as Intex. Aria ticks most boxes. While it's not 22" high, I added an old twin foam mattress (underneath) 4" thick. This gave me the missing 4" that the Aria missing, 22" total. I really wanted to be able to sit down to put on my socks and shoes without having to use a chair. While 18" is fine, you do need to allow for slight deflection when sitting on an air mattress. Hence the need for 22" in height. I was able to use my old bed frame, the main reason for switching to an airbed was to allow me to move around more easily. This item fits my handg luggage What I really like about Aria is something my Intex doesn't have. This is a dual air pump system. While the main air pump is designed to inflate or deflate the mattress, there is a secondary air pump that maintains the pressure. Most airbeds need a few seconds of air to firm up again after about a month of daily use. The smaller pump turns on and all you hear is a slight hum for a few minutes. This only happened twice the first time I poured it as the vinyl was still stretching. I haven't heard that since then. But it's very hot in here and I have 3 fans running at full blast. It takes about a day to fully open the air bed. I wish my Intex had the same dual pump system. Many air mattresses do not have ribs on the sides. This is good as they are slightly larger and help balance the sides. It also prevents you from rolling out of bed like other air mattresses. The ribs also help hold the leaves in place. I had no problem fitting regular double sheets on this air bed. You may find them a bit difficult to take off as they hold up really well. Aria really bothers me at one point. Those are cones. As long as they're okay, I think what I can do to make it even more enjoyable. So I plan on adding 1-2 inches of memory foam. So I can have a very solid bed that is very stable and there is some comfort at the top in the form of softness. The Intex has a double bed, but the Aria has two pumps and I'm glad I went with this system instead. If Aria broke and I couldn't fix it, I would buy it again. The only thing that can beat this bed is the height of 22 inches. I hope this information was useful to you. :)
