Bought these speakers to replace broken diaphragms in a fairly expensive set of speakers that are quite old. I was impressed by the reviews I read but found it hard to believe given the speaker prices are so low. I bought them and just installed them in cabinets and replaced the failed woofers. results, successes. clean, clear, full, evenly balanced sound across the entire lower spectrum (down to 28 Hz). The bass is particularly well done, with no hum but a solid foundation for the music. The original speaker never worked as well or sounded as good, never even sounded as good. . I run them at 100 watts so there is no risk of damaging them. They are quite loud and react quickly. I love these new speakers; you will too.
