We ordered this once and the mug arrived with the handle broken off. So we printed out the UPS label and sent the damaged mug back. Then he immediately ordered another cup, thinking that maybe it was an accident, broken in transit or handling. But a few days later, the second mug I ordered came in the mail. We opened the box and didn't even have to remove the bubble wrap to see that the rim of the second mug had a chip and the side of the mug had chipped paint. Each of these mugs were shipped to us separately (we didn't order anything else from this company) so each mug was shipped in this very tight little cardboard box with thin bubble wrap. I think the boxes are too small and the padding too little to actually keep them from breaking when package workers throw them around. I will not order it a third time. ************************************ On the first two orders I only gave 1 star cup. I really wanted this mug, so I ordered it for the third time in February 2021. I believe it arrived in perfect condition because the company has greatly improved the packaging. It arrived a third time, with thicker bubble wrap completely covering the cup; then a cardboard sleeve around the bubble wrap to keep it from shifting in the mailer box and insulating the mug; then finally the outer box. Again, the mug arrived in perfect condition. My cup had dark tea leaves at the bottom of the cup. Very happy with the product.
