After opening the package, I noticed that the sheets were thinner than I expected. The sheets fit my 18 inch mattress perfectly, the bare mattress was not visible unlike some of the deep pocket sheets I have previously purchased from other brands. The sheets were soft which is always nice. In the month and a half of their ownership they have not yet revealed a single pearl. To be honest my only concern is that when I made my bed tonight I found a hole in the bottom sheet. Admittedly it's been 2.5 weeks since the return step for me so I'm now stuck with a faulty product. If there hadn't been an accidental tear even two months after purchase I would have given this product five stars for the price and ease of use. I hope my case is unique.
