I was looking for a bell to put on my road bike to provide extra security when meeting other cyclists and pedestrians. I've reviewed countless products but tried to avoid bluebells, which looked like sore eyes on my setup. Lol how to try to avoid a pimple when attending an event or special occasion. At the very least, you would hope to hide or disguise its presence. I was a bit discouraged with many, if not all, of the bells I encountered which were too visually noticeable AND made my hands rush to remove the fold down bars/bonnet in order of activation. This can pose a small security risk. It is like it is. Do you take your hands completely off the wheel to turn on your turn signals while driving? Not really. You can operate the turn signal with your finger while keeping your hand on the steering wheel itself. Doesn't sound like much, but it's one less distraction to contend with while keeping your eyes on the road. I was reluctantly about to buy a bell (it was already in my shopping cart) when I came across this bike bell. ! If you are looking for a bell that is not only loud enough but also discreet and not noticeable like a sore thumb and gives you the option to keep your hands on the wheel for safety (works with different types of steering wheels). and switching/braking function, then THIS bell is just right for you! Respect to the makers of this product! Someone really dreamed this up with those details! I just installed them on my two bikes and even bought three more as gifts for other riders. They LOVE them as these bells serve the same purpose they've been looking for.
