Review on Enhanced Chrome Accessories Tour Rotor Disc Cover 2-497 by Ghostnote Hankins

Great addon, added a nice clean bright look!

I have a 1988 GL1500 and bought it with most of the original fairings/accessories. So I decided to add some chrome. Those rotors added a bit of shine to the bike! I used to have old, grayish ones that were generally dull. Adding these rotors made quite a difference! Here are a few things to look out for: They FIT very well - they snapped into place with no issues - HOWEVER - they are not a complete replacement. Take a close look at my before and after photos. You can see in the photos beforehand that I have these little orange lightbulbs on the front stacked 3 high. They bolt into the bottom holes of the OLD rotor caps, but will not work with new rotor caps as the new rotor caps have a slightly different shape at the bottom. But after taking those headlights off, I decided I prefer it "cleaner"! Please note there are additional lights that go around the ring of the rotor caps but I did not purchase them. Now I wish I had! So I'll probably go back and buy them as add-ons at some point. (And I have wires from old lamps in there - should be easy to install). I would also like to point out that these are ABS, but they are very durable and don't feel cheap. If you look very closely you can see on the right side of my bike that I had to modify the rotor cover for the sidecar mount. I used a Dremel tool and carefully cut out the shape I wanted - and the rotors held up well! Also, be sure to buy small round chrome covers that fill holes, otherwise you will end up with large open holes on the sides. I highly recommend adding them if you want to jazz up the front of your bike! Check out the before and after photos - enjoy!
