I've been using this lock for about two years now and it works very well. I hate lugging around extra keys so the combination lock was just what I was looking for. I had an issue with this a few months ago, but it was partly my fault. For a few minutes I was worried (ie going insane) because the place I was working at was supposed to be closed but the lock wouldn't open. (Do I need to take a chair home or quickly buy a saw to cut the lock?) I think that's what some of the most negative reviews are about. What must have happened is that a shuffle in my laptop case (where I keep it) must have caused the combination to change to a number different from my combination. If this happens to you, just try to move each number in your combination up or down one place. An accident in two years is not so bad; On the other hand, others seem to have had similar problems more often. So while it works as intended, it would be even better if it was designed to make it more difficult to accidentally change the combination. As long as you know it can happen, I think you'll be in good shape. I recommend this castle to friends and I recommend it to you.
