From time to time I lay parquet floors in my house and I always rent a nailer. This time I had several hundred feet of flooring to lay in the evenings and the cost of a two week rental would be comparable to buying this gun. It was excellent. Over 2,000 nails were driven and the only misfeed was caused by a spontaneous ram impact. The gun is light, strong, easy to load (I've used Bostich and Dewalt ground spikes with great results) and worked flawlessly. It worked better than any of the expensive rental nailers I've used in the past. The baseplate indexes easily and I haven't had a single nail on the front from slipping. It discharges if you stand it and then tip it over, but that's operator error, not a nailer's fault.
