These adapters are ideal for connecting HDMI cables in tight spaces behind wall mounted flat screen TVs. Wanted a nicely built flat screen TV in the kitchen wall so nobody knocks on it. By using these adapters I was able to run the cable through the back of the TV and plug it into the TV without the cable sticking out. The Samsung flat screen TV's HDMI connection space is positioned as if you are only entering from the right side when looking at the TV. My cable wire came out of the wall on the left side and had to meander and go to the right side. Didn't want to bend the cable at such an extreme angle as to cause cable problems over time. These adapters saved me and provided the right solutions.
