I bought a selfie stick mainly for home video calls because it has a backlight. The light is surprisingly bright enough to see clearly on video, and there are four different modes, two white and two warm, whichever gives you the most comfort. It orients easily from landscape to portrait mode and stays in place very well. The clips are pretty darn strong to the point where I think they can break the surrounding plastic if you don't know how to open it properly. The tripod is pretty solid, at low to medium height I have complete confidence that it will stay upright with no issues. The only wish I have is rubber lugs on the bottom to provide extra grip and prevent accidents. The Bluetooth shutter works great, it's very basic and probably won't last too long if you drop it more than once, but as long as it stays in its selfie stick slot everything's fine. If you have a heavier smartphone, I don't really recommend it as a standalone selfie stick as the retractable stick is loose and I don't think it will last long at max length. Definitely worth the $11 I spent just for the tripod and lighting feature, but it deserves extra points for being a selfie stick and camera shutter too. Enjoy!
