I ended up buying 2 pairs because the first pair was too small. I wear 9.5 or 9W US which I think works very well for 43 EU. I have bought many pairs of shoes in size 43 and they fit me perfectly. This size 43 did not fit. they were narrow and short. It's not a big loss because I have 2 children who are growing and will soon be US size 9 so I will keep them and pass them on when the time is right. Although this shoe has a nice soft and flexible sole, it doesn't have a very aggressive profile. So be careful when walking on smooth but dusty/muddy surfaces like big stores. I wear them with my martial arts uniform (black) on my way to and from class. Very easy use.
