This is a beautiful car. I wasn't expecting the top to be detachable but it seems to stay pretty tight. Approximately 25% of the holes were actually pilot drilled. The rest seemed to just need tapping with a hammer to show where to drill the hole, or if you just want to drill like I did I would suggest wearing gloves. My palm is still healing from the blister he caused. I am very annoyed that the item sent turned out to belong to someone else. They still charged me full price. The contents had obviously been re-taped and stuffed back into the box. Broken styrofoam created a blizzard when unpacking. All of this would have been almost bearable if one of the boards hadn't been damaged and the wheels hadn't become dirty from previous use. Not sure how the wheels were used when all the boards weren't drilled, so maybe they just picked up a few imperfections to make one? Well, a big win for the company and a big loss for me. I was almost done building when I found dirty wheels and a damaged board. It's too much of a hassle to take apart to return, so I think I'll be leaving a poor quality product that I paid full price for. My only source of fraud is this review. Check your items thoroughly before putting them together. You can't trust this company to send you something brand new.
