Pros: Works well as a beard balm. The smell is pleasant BUT it really is a signature vanilla scent. Unfortunately, although I like the taste of vanilla, I'm not that attracted to the smell of vanilla. It's not overpowering in any way, but if you're buying this product ask yourself: AM I SURE I can handle the smell of vanilla all day? The inside of the jar appears to have the consistency of shoe polish. There is no way to spill the product, which I like. This prevents unintentional interference. Also, the fact that you have to scrape off some product with your fingernail allows you to get exactly the amount you need (as opposed to the liquid which may spill out quicker than you wanted) and avoids wasting the product. Cons: If you're impatient, you might not want to spend a few seconds "melting" the product in the palm of your hand each time before applying it to your beard. It's a little pricey in my opinion, but that's subjective and you can easily disagree. Conclusion: If you like (a lot of) vanilla and don't mind scraping the product off with your fingernail and melting it in the palm of your hand, this product will most likely satisfy you.
