It works (but vanilla is better for you!)

Pros: Works well as a beard balm. The smell is pleasant BUT it really is a signature vanilla scent. Unfortunately, although I like the taste of vanilla, I'm not that attracted to the smell of vanilla. It's not overpowering in any way, but if you're buying this product ask yourself: AM I SURE I can handle the smell of vanilla all day? The inside of the jar appears to have the consistency of shoe polish. There is no way to spill the product, which I like. This prevents unintentional interference.

Smells amazing, helps a little

- I got this for my dad who has had a long beard my whole life and I would be lying if I didn't say I was tempted to keep it for myself to use as a hair balm and use solid perfume because i smell so good! A little is enough to offset what seems like a high price, until you realize how little of it you need on a daily basis and how long that will last you. If you don't have a beard you can honestly use this to tame flies in your hair and it won't weigh it down or make it greasy, it's so light…

Outrageous price for what you get.

Let's start with the ingredients. They are properly listed on the tin and online, but the tin was packed with different ingredients. Since my kids have a lot of allergies, I was concerned about the almond based ingredient listed on the box/packaging. I emailed the company and it probably took a week or more to get a response from them. They confirmed the packaging was wrong. The jar is correctly labeled and matches the ingredients listed online. The product itself is oddly much more complicated
