This product performs well for its intended use. While the instructions say it can be cut to length, note that the Velcro strips are attached with stickers that remind me of old charcoal briquette bags; Once it starts to unravel, it won't stop. I need to attach both "now" and "later" lengths so both can be used. However, when a special length and wrap is required for a part that is part of an assembly that cannot be disassembled. it will do it for you.
