To be honest I only found this brand because my usual yesterday's news items were sold out. I'm glad I did, this stuff is EXACTLY the same except the pellets are a lighter shade. However, the same works and my cat didn't notice the difference. Tips: If you have other animals like rabbits, rats, ferrets, etc. or even birds, this is a great allergen-free filler. I've been using paper pellets for my rats for years and I love them. Paper pellets are also great for cats with allergies or asthma as the clay litter contains a lot of dust which is not good for them (or the owner either). The granules also do not scatter around the house like clay residues. It takes a little more effort to scoop it up, you kind of have to know what works and how to get the urine out because it sticks together. I scoop 2 times a day and change the entire litter box once a week and I only have 1 cat. It holds the smell VERY well, I never smell urine until I dig around with a shovel. It also absorbs a lot of urine, which is great.
