Easy to use and practical. As soon as I received this product I washed the lids, glass weights and pump and within minutes I was cooking sauerkraut. All I had to do was fill the jars with cabbage, insert a jar weight, pour in salt mixture, screw on the gas outlet cap and pump out excess air with a pump. After 5 days I had a delicious fermented treat. After the first batch was ready, I set about making delicious pickles.
