The optical performance is a lie!

Received the Optoma HD28HDR today and did some testing prior to final installation and setup. I tried the QR code for more detailed settings and found that Optoma says HD28HDR doesn't exist? The description also says it has an optical output, so I bought a long optical cable for it. without optical output! 3.5mm audio output only. I found the image quality overview quite good, but I am very disappointed with the lack of product information from the company and the incorrect information in the description. I hope I haven't wasted my time and money.
