I like this laser meter just to be clear I bought it at full price and didn't get a free evaluation product. I was looking for a laser gauge for a basement project I'm about to start. The laser gauge helps to get quick and rough measurements to determine the amount of material needed. I didn't want to use the brand mentioned after paying 4x as I wouldn't be able to use it that much as a contractor and I wouldn't abuse it like a construction site. What surprised me was the accuracy. Although the user manually says the accuracy is +/- 1/16 of an inch, my testing proved accurate. I tested by measuring the walls around the house, each time it fitted my trusty tape measure perfectly, and I've included photos for reference. Features include: has a memory function, can measure from below or above the instrument, has mm, feet (decimal). ), ft/in/percent, inch/percent, has the ability to continuously measure low, high, and medium values. Horizontal and vertical spirit level. Comes with 2 AAA batteries and the LED display is bright enough. One problem it shares with any RED laser is that it's not visible in bright sunlight, although it does provide a reading you can't see exactly where you're pointing. It should work well in the shade or in the weak sun. Time will tell about the durability. But so far I don't regret the purchase.
