My DS4 joysticks have fallen apart - seems to be a fairly common occurrence. I didn't want to buy new ones, and buying a replacement meant taking the entire controller apart. They pair well with dissolving pads and work great while maintaining grip and precise control in games. So considering the cost, this is a big win. don't fall apart, but they're definitely no worse - so if you want to protect yours, they take about 10 seconds to snap into place and stay perfectly in place.
