Wow, that's a neat little device. I have a rather unconventional and simple setup, but I wanted to improve the audio for an interview with a GoPro Hero 4 mounted on a Feiyu G4 handheld gimbal. That works great. I installed it on a Feiyu G4 with stock GoPro hardware. Then I attach a Shure VP83 LensHopper gun mic to the side of the self-powered hot shoe, connected to a duct with the 3.5mm jack, and an Audio Technica lavalier mic with an XLR connector connected to the Phantom power required on the other channel. Channel. Each is independently level controlled, ideal for mixing in post production. The two exits are great; one for the camera and one for the headphones. It has everything I need but no more.
