After trying small multitrack recorders, this was the BST way.

After trying small multitrack recorders, this is the best way to record sound with confidence. This gives your camera the power and XLR connections you need without lots of cables and extra hassle.

Better than camera preamp

I like it but the sensors aren't very sensitive and the sensor itself isn't that big so it's not easy to see. Actually, I only use the counters on the monitor. Mic preamps are ok but not great! I expected a better preamp. In terms of preamps, I compare Saramonics to the Behringer UMC404HD, which costs around $100 and has some excellent $100 preamps and ADCs.

Just what I need for clear and crisp sound

I've only used a Sony A7rii and Deity D3 Pro for audio, but the preamps in Sony mirrorless cameras are notoriously bad. I had to crank the gain very high on d3 and ended up picking up a lot of room noise, which isn't very good. That being said, I can set the gain to 0 for the microphone and 1 for the camera. Now I get a very clear sound - no room noise or reverberation. There are sellers selling this for $91 which is a bargain and I recommend a refurbished model (I bought a refurbished one). A…

Added microphone capacity for DSLR, that's the ticket.

Tested this little guy on my Nikon DSLR and it works great. Does everything he says he will do. I think the only disappointment is that I had an audio jack which I was hoping to control the audio from the camera itself rather than getting a real audio monitor but it didn't work with the split jack so I switched it around control the audio of cameras. device, but not really a deal breaker. I tried several configurations with XLR, mini jack, wireless and XLR stem and everything worked perfectly…

The ideal entry-level portable dual-mic mixer.

Wow, that's a neat little device. I have a rather unconventional and simple setup, but I wanted to improve the audio for an interview with a GoPro Hero 4 mounted on a Feiyu G4 handheld gimbal. That works great. I installed it on a Feiyu G4 with stock GoPro hardware. Then I attach a Shure VP83 LensHopper gun mic to the side of the self-powered hot shoe, connected to a duct with the 3.5mm jack, and an Audio Technica lavalier mic with an XLR connector connected to the Phantom power required on the

Great blender for your money! Detailed description below.

So I've researched a lot of these audio mixers / audio adapters and there are NO mixers with ALL these features for this price. Here are the key things that make up this incredible $130 deal. Saramonic devices are inexpensive but have great features and sound. * Detailed LED audio levels * 1/8" left, right, mono and stereo inputs * XLR inputs * 48V phantom power inputs or mic/line inputs (you have independent switches for each channel) * Detailed battery life indicator (lasts 4 hours on phantom

Great product for the price

I have an AV studio with 3 different recording stations and I needed a way to get XLR audio straight into the camera for live broadcasts. This product works as advertised and makes it easy to get quality sound. A couple of reasons I couldn't give it 5 stars is that the monitor levels on the unit don't reflect very well what signal the camera is actually receiving. On the device it shows almost no signal, but on my camera it shows that it's receiving a fairly high signal level. So pay attention…
