Review on HIDBEA Blackout Blocking Darkening Removable by Robin Brinks

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Blackout curtains are cheaper

After wearing blackout curtains that were uncertainly nailed to my window with studs (see the damage in the second photo) for a couple of years, I got these. I had to buy a second set to cover my entire window but they fit great and even fitting some of the small panels I had to do with my first set went well when I got my second. I've only had them for a few days so who knows how well they'll stay up, but as long as they feel good and fit together (to avoid gaps between them) it's pretty good too. They don't fit the metal frame of my windows, and I refuse to leave the recommended 1/16 inch clearance around the edges (it's not blackout if you let light in!), so we'll see. I can go outside and as you can see my window is completely black even with the lights on. Compare to the window above which does not dim when the lights are off.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
