Not good enough
Maybe the last oil change mechanic overtightened the filter housing. However, this wrench did not grip the case well enough, and I used this tool to break the tab on the case. I doubt it will fit as well as the original Toyota filter wrench. Chances are a reputable mechanic will just take the filter off and throw the thing away.
